And you seriously think that god gave you petrol so you could avoid a bit of inconvenience, when there are millions of starving people in the world, people dying of all kinds of diseases, dying in earthquakes, tsunami's, wars and terrorist attacks and you are arrogant enough to think that god would single out a porky dork like you for special treatment? Go and get your fuel guage checked beofre you claim a miracle on your behalf!!!

Yes, I do believe that God would keep the tank from running out of gas for to keep him from "a bit of inconvenience." Who knows what could have happened had he run out of gas, or better yet, what could have happened had he not arrived when he had. You never know what God does with the small things, who you inpact because of a little word you say, what inpact a little action has on a persons life.
I give you props for glorifying God instead of claiming it as luck.

Amen, Brother! God has done this for me on more than one occasion. Once was in a big ol' gas guzzling Jeep Wagoneer that never went ANYWHERE on empty, yet he caused it to travel over seventy miles with the gas gauge registering BELOW empty the entire time! I had taken my son to the airport to see him off on his way to Iraq, and he had inadvertently boarded the plane and taken off with my cash in his pocket.

We traveled on fumes, until we finally ran out of gas. Right away, a lovely couple stopped and assisted us. They took us to the nearest town, bought a gas can, filled it, and put it into my truck. I was so thankful, and ready to head out again, but they said I must follow them back into town. There, they completely filled my gas tank, and when I got their address, intending to send them money to pay them back, they said they would not accept it, God sent them!

The Lord said, "Be it unto you according to your faith," not "according to how important your issue is in the minds of others." He is THE Lord of all the earth! He owns it, lock, stock, and barrel. He has promised to provide all our needs, not just some, and not just the very important ones. wordavee, you dishonor Him and the faith of this lovely brother! The Lord has done many, many miracles for me and mine simply because we trusted Him and took Him at His word! Provable, even with X-rays!

So why didn't god "remind" your son to just give you your money? These examples of "miracles" are so arrogant, that you think god will single you out for special treatment by helping you get some extra mileage out of a gallon of petrol, and yet let someone else perhaps living in your street, die of cancer. Get real, you are living in a fantasy world.
