I dont know why he didnt sing that last part. but I would think doing multiple shows on the road, singing the way he does, his vocal chords were most likely strained, fatigued or maybe he just had a soar throat.
I wouldnt go so far as to say this is unprofessional. I mean if you injured your wrist at work, wouldnt you try to not use it until it healed?
