r u serious? i've seen the space station a tomn of times and the same goes for Iridiums. thats not what it is. it is an iridium flare. I mean some on, if they were zooming then you wouldnt be able to see the stars in the background stay in the same plane

100% certain - This is NOT an iridium Flare - Iridium flares fade in & out . Check out heavens above site to get the timings of a real iridium flare near you - then you can tell me I was right !!! Ive been watchin em for years. They are cool

yes i know the website i use it!!! as a matter of fact i jsut saw an Iridium at around 5:20(eastern) and you can see the satellite after it is done flaring if u arent "Blinded by the Light" as Manfred Man would say. a camera wouldnt be effected like the human eye. and if u missed the main part of the flare but caught the tail end(like i did tonight) you could still see the satellite. i saw it w/ my own eyes.

Ive seen alot of satalites,i used to lay on the park bench early hours and watch them. i focus on a set of stars at the same time and watch for movement. After a few mins,a star got really bright and started moving, it seemed to keep changing speed,then it changed direction,then it stopped and changed direction again. Do satalites do this also?? someone please let me know. I can film these easily. I just dont want to waste countless hours,if they're just powered satalites.

Thats what in thought. But what about spy satalites?? Dont some have power to change direction? I thought the ones i spotted started to light up and move and change direction/speed. I just put it down to some kind of powered satalite. Spy satalites must be powered??

well... any orbiting satellite (not geostationary) can cover all the world, like the ISS satellites can only make litle corrections

sme satellites do change direction, but you wont be able to tel unless you are physically measuring the change in plac eit is in the sky. some people do that im sure. but not me. i just like to look at them and get a picture if i can! i got my first pic of a full Iridium flare tonight!!! YAAAYYY!!!
