I don't know who produced this on the album I assume it was Chet but whoever it was nailed this with the drums comming to the forfront about half way through the song, then a split second of silence so Waylon's voice can run right throgh a person

this song has made me cry since I left Colorado. Janet used to sing this song for me, she learned it from Towns V. and Jerry Jeff Walker-when they lived in Texas.
Janet had a beautiful voice and played well; she moved to Denver and I never saw her again. All these years and I can still say, lovin her was easier than anything I'll ever do again. If you know her; tell her I live in Seattle, I'm in the phone book. sorry for taking up so much space. bobh

I haven't heard from her, but today I thought of a song she taught me; "If I listend long enough to you, I'd find a way to believe that it's all true. Looking back, I can see why I liked that song so much.
I pushed Janet away because I was loosing it and didn't want her mixed up in my madness. Looking back, life would have taken a diffent shape if I would have reached out and held her close. Loving Janet was easy; she had the magic. thanks for asking bobh Seattle
