i have had this done to mine. if your 360 doesn't have problems in the first place don't do it. i didn't have any problems at all. but i didn't want to. so i had this done from day one it was freezing alot then i got the red ring of death after about a month. then i did it myself worked for about a hour then crash. didn't touch it for a day and tried it now it just crashes right at the xbox logo guess i will have to get a new one.
