It's Full Metal Jacket. It's a movie based off the ugly side of war during Vietnam. Guy's all have pretty fucked up problems during that war, and that fight happens to be their last encounter, showing how brutal in a sense they've gotten. Like, no caring if it's a man, woman, or child, as long as they're firing, they'll fire back.
