She's so fantastic. Her band, especially around her albums "Blue Light 'Til Dawn" and "New Moon Daughter" are classic albums that really should be studied by female jazz vocalists.
I really like her approach to jazz. The guitar, instead of the piano, is used in a very textural way. She's one of my favorite jazz vocalists next to Diana Krall and Shirley Horn. "Harvest Moon" was from her 1996 recording "New Moon Daughter," which won a Grammy.

I think the mess up was with the sound. I have played with Marvin and know that he likes his guitar sound flat. Take another listen and you will hear how the sound changes during the intro.
