A short explanation of the Apache Native American Indian resistance that happened in the Southwestern United States around the 1860s. There was an active slave trade in the south west that most people are unaware of. The western states were very important in the Civil War for the North. Gold from California and Silver from Nevada helped finance the war against the South. The Indians were in the path of the expanding valuable mineral hunt and settlement. One tribe that fought this expansion were the Apaches. First the Mescalero and then the Chiricahua. The Apache bands were led by Cochise, Victorio, the Chiricahua band was led by famous Geronimo. Geronimo led the most famous Native American resistance and it cost the U.S. government over $40 Million dollars to kill 100 Indians. Geronimo was caught and forced to live in the Southeast where many of the Apaches died. Geronimo died as a captive in 1909 in Oklahoma, far from his mountain home. The speakers are Bob Haozous, a Chiricahua artist and Grace McNeley a Navajo cultural leader.

sapien Neadenthals as I have said had a common ancestor and were altogether more advanced that sapien sapien. They harnessed fire before modern man even existed, had larger brains and were bigger and stronger. The idea that these people died out is in itself far fetched and evidence does not support it. A girl found in portugal dated 24,500 ya, 5,000 years after Neanderthal had clear features of Neanderthal which also had red hair. This is purely the evidence.

Actually the hair/eye color changed because of mutation much later on , it has nothing to do with Neanderthals . btw , Neanderthals also lived in Central Asia , Mongolia ... why aren't their eyes green . Blond Color came from Aryans . Who lived in isolation in South Russia till 10,000~5,000 BC and invaded Europe . Early Europeans also crossed to America using the trans-Atlantic ice-link connecting europe-america . so why aren't native americans blond like europeans .

Neanderthals had smaller brains , check any website . They could not use spears to fish or use throwing spears made of horn . If you are claiming europeans are descendants of Neanderthals , you are sending them backward . Also first proper Neanderthals came after modern humans (30,000), check wikipedia . So humans used fire before them .

Hi, firstly - no I stated quite clearly that I'm refering to all non-Negroid peoples (not just Europeans). Here you will see Homo Neanderthalensis predates Homo Sapien meaning they found fire first - on wikipedia search 'human evolution' and see chart - Neanderthals came first :)

If you also look at the Neanderthal range on wikipedia you will see that in fact they didn't live in Mongolia going no further than Persia. Why does no populations outside of Neanderthal range have these hair/eye mutations to the same extent being as you mention it. Some Neanderthals also had red hair.

Lastly because its late - again on wikipedia, search neanderthals and you will see that they have a cranial capacity much larger than modern humans. So - these people who pre-date homo sapien came before us, had tools before us, made fire before us, invented musical instruments before us, were stronger and bigger than us and had a larger brain than us. Genetic drift, founder effects, relaxation of natural selection, etc. But these factors could not have produced such a wide variety of hair and eye hues in the 35,000 years that modern humans have inhabited Europe. The hair-color gene (MC1R) has at least 7 alleles that exist only in Europe and the same is probably true for the eye-color gene (OCA2). If we take the hypothesis of a relaxation of selection, nearly a million years would be needed to accumulate this amount of diversity - quoted.

Check wiki again . In fact, the average Neandertal brain may have been slightly bigger from this perspective. The large heads and massive bodies of Neandertals , made brain weight to body weight ratio less than mordern humans . That is why they were less developed and lost in the race with the newer Cro-Magnons . Lastly , they didn't have a chin and had large sloppy foreheads , which all humans from africa to america had .

When modern mans ancestor was little more than an animal they had a culture with music, fire and they were very successful hunters we now know. They weren't the primitive people we had been lead to believe for the last century. All this is fact - them becoming extinct however is theory.

This subject about our species and their different branches is of course interesting . Combing back to the point where Europeans dominated the world during the colonial age , we will see that it was not because of genetic differences , but the difference in people's mindset . The Renaissance paved the way for European supremacy , because people could think freely and not be bound by religious dogma . This was the greatest driving force behind the western world and so their dominated .

Extinct as a species, but cro-magnon man is also extinct. On the European domination since the 17th century of course that's cultural when compared to Asians and Native Americans. I think my point is that Negroid peoples seem to lack our creativity. When I stated what I did for Neanderthals, I did it because its a good theory for why we (Europeans & Asians together) defer from them with regard development. It will take alot more study to finally rule out Neanderthal/ Peking Man related interaction with Sapiens entering their lands, but it does point to non-African humans having a common ancestor and either Mongoloid being a mutation of Caucasians or vice versa along the way. The presence of MCPH1 and such genes in non-African humans may well be however unethical some people will find it what sets us apart. Because there is something is us that either they are missing or that we have extra.
