This is an interesting video, because you can see some of the reasons why Astley gave up his performing career. He is obviously not happy having to mime this song, and he didn't like being part of the S-A-W "machine" that is hyped at the beginning of the performance. Astley was a nice young kid from northern England who was being pulled in directions he just couldn't deal with.
