This a few clips of my vert. I plan on starting the Dr. Squat vertical jump program in a few days. Its 21 weeks long and im aiming for a 4" increase.

| I bet that was your first program though. Before I did this I had done about 5 programs. Ive already used up my quota of "natural" gains just from jumping and stuff. If I stopped training I wouldn't gain anything, my vert would down. |

| The main muscle groups involved in the vertical leap are 65% Quadriceps, 20% Calves, 15% Upper body. Squats are the best exercise for increasing quad strength. Personally I could barely touch the rim after a year of focusing on my calves. After 6 months of focusing on my quads I could touch the top of the square with both hands. The lower you are able to squat and the quicker you are able to thrust upward from this position the higher you will be able to jump. |

| Buy VJB (Vertical Jump Bible) and do the Novice weights program from it and the beginner plyometric program (if you don't jump around much playing ball). Just google it to find it, its an e-book. If you do that then you will see some great gains. If you haven't done any vert training before then 6" or more in the 12 weeks is definitely not out of the question. |
