I love your crazy rants...you should add a crazy rant day to the schedule that you never keep =)
And your completely right...the government is supposed to plan ahead in order to make things easy for the country they represent, and here we have a throw away comment on an issue that could basically impoverish anyone whose dinners arent paid for by taxes (hidden dig at greedy MPs there)
And would anyone notice if government was abolished? Most services could better be provided for elsewhere...

Anyone with a basic understanding of global economics will tell you that food and oil prices are so high because of a global economic recession, that began in America. Advising people to attempt to save food costs by shopping elsewhere and not throwing out as much is just one way, and one that is universally achievable, to tackle the problem of high food prices and reduce the burden on families in Britain. It may be obvious, but publicly urging families to do so emphasises its importance
