What an absolute gem of a commercial and an actor ... Jack Gilford. This goes back to when humor was a subtle, clever thing, not a bunch guys crapping their pants and mutilating themselves for laughs.

I REMEMBER THAT! The lady's scream at the beginning was a short, cut-off high-pitch squeal, like a mouse! As a kid, I thought the local programmers just made a boo-boo, and ran the tape too fast!

There's another "Cj's"TV plug on a train. Where a kid who's returning home from the circus. Is sleeping with a box of"Cj's"and Mr.Gilford is stealing the kid's "CJ's"..BTW:The little kid is holding a "Huckleberry Hound"doll in his arms.

He played the king in Once Upon A Mattress with Carol Burnett and he was great. (It was filmed and on tv) I also have an old album of Winnie The Pooh poems set to music and he is the voice of Pooh.

Dear Dotsymae, Mr.Gilford played "King Seximus The Silent" in two tv adaptations of"Once Upon A Matress!" with Ms.Carol Burnett both on CBS TV one in 1964 and the other in the 1970's.
