One of the best high school games ever!There is no lack of effort here just an incredible will to win.Texas at its best!The better team did win though.16-0 state champs that year.

I was in 8th grade when JT won state and we was at that game and my folks made us leave because we figured we'd won already. Then we saw the score the next day and was like "what happened?"

This was a semi-final game. AMAZING seems to barely describe the last 3 minutes of this game.

"Roderick Dunn returned a kickoff 97 yards for a touchdown with 11 seconds left, giving the Lions a 48-44 victory Saturday night in a Class 5A Division II Region II semifinal at Texas Stadium."

Every Texas state playoff game (except for the 5A finals now) is either played on a neutral field...or, if the two schools can't agree on a neutral site, a coin toss is held for home-field advantage. This is true is most other Texas HS sports as well.

i was in the 5th grade when this game was played...i was at home listing to it...one of the guys that was talking..was the head coach at lake highlands high school...JT had beat themt he week before..so he didnt want JT to win..so thats why u hear him talking the way he was...going for plano east.....CUJO FOR LIFE
