thanks ncpowerlifter. you've got some nice lifts on your channel. i've never pulled from the floor and i don't like the movement as a training tool. i feel rack pulls are superior for overload with less risk and, unless you're a p/lifter, imo rack pulls are much better, but i should probably have a go at a p/lifting contest some time so??. my body weight is about 230lbs.

lol, good question...i had spring collars but i lost them and, apart from that, i have no excuse. it was never really an issue until this pull.

thankyou. i do a bit...nothing as extravagant as u though, just dips mainly. i watched your benching clip. some serious intensity there. the effort you put into your final reps is insane. if i did seated french presses like those i'd probably blow out both of my elbows. well done, keep it up!!

impresive weight - just wondering why do you use "palms facing you" grip? is it because the distance of the bar gets a bit shorter? dont afraid a bit that yor biceps may tear?

thanx..it's actually a supinated grip (palms facing away) and there is no real reason 4 it. it is not the typical grip used for this movement and i don't know if there is any advantage one way or the other since the hands are just hooks anyway. the grip is not important for the purpose of this exercise ie to provide resistance to the posterior chain and core.

dunno...i've played it back a few times and i can't locate the snap. my right foot moved a bit?? i'm getting back into the pulls (hadn't done them since this these jan 7) so i might find out in due course.'course i might not walk upright again but walking upright is overated anyway.

super cool. i just tried these for the first time today! i don't know if you believe in clamps(collars) or not, but when the bar bends that much, it might be necessary. Just so you don't lose any weight during the negative.

thanx. u r absolutely correct, collars are very important. problem was that i couldn't fit them on the end. i've recently started rack pulls again, only this time at the hardest of hardcore gyms, MusclePit, in Cannington Western Australia. They've got heavier plates, stronger bars and everything else required 4 unreal strength. i'm going 2 get up to 1000lbs from the knees and aim at powerlifting competition next year.

First I tought you very joking! But then I saw your vid, and I remember seeing it before as well. I am glad to be of inspiration for a nut case like you (in a good way!). Wow.. that's some weight! I haven't tried more than 300kg ever. :) What is your squat number and bench number? Incredible great strength!
